Our team of experienced Physiotherapists are skilled at the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions.
We treat sports injuries, workplace injuries and motor vehicle accidents, chronic conditions such as osteoarthritis, postural problems and headaches. We also provide physiotherapy services to the Port Macquarie Private Hospital and are able to progress your rehabilitation post surgery at one of our clinics ensuring continuity of care.
We offer a wide variety of treatments to complement our excellent manual skills, including western acupuncture, hydrotherapy, traction. We are also able to prescribe orthotics and assess foot biomechanics using our advanced Gait Scan technology.

Our main clinic in Wyandra Cresent, Port Macquarie is fully equipped with a range of treatment and exercise equipment. We also offer services in Kempsey and Laurieton. Our Physiotherapists work closely with our team of Exercise Physiologists and Dr Bryant our Sports Physician to provide you with the highest level of care.

Gait Scan
Your foot is in contact with the ground for about .8 of a second when walking and about .25 seconds when running.
Imagine trying to determine normal or abnormal foot function with the naked eye in a quarter of a second? This is too
difficult for even the most experienced practitioner. The GaitScan system records your timing sequences during gait as
you walk or run across the pressure plate. This enables your practitioner to have a clear picture of your foot mechanics
and determine wether you would benefit from wearing custom made orthotics.
How does gait scan work?
- Scans the foot
As you walk across the pressure plate, thousands of tiny sensors capture the distribution of pressure of your foot over time. - From your step, the computer displays 2D and 3D visual representations of the pressure under your foot. You can see where you have too much or too little pressure.
- Prints a report
The information is then summarized in a report that can be printed for you and your health care practitioner to see. The report findings will help your practitioner evaluate your foot function and determine if the pain you are experiencing is related to faulty foot function. - Determine the need for orthotic therapy
The information from this report will assist your practitioner determine if you need orthotic therapy - When it is determined that you will benefit from orthotic therapy your information is then sent securely to The Orthotic Group laboratory. From there your custom made orthotics are manufactured specifically for you and your feet.
Motion Analysis
Enriched Health uses Dartfish Pro Suite for professional motion analysis. Dartfish ProSuite is a very effective and complete video analysis software package, which includes all necessary functionality to analyse human movement. The use of motion analysis is helpful for making gait and biomechanical assessments powerful and objective. The Video imaging assists to reinforce communication with our patients. The Integration of video analysis within our daily routines provides instant visual feedback giving patients a clear visual understanding of the corrections they need to make.
