Simon Turnbull- Exercise Physiologist
Simon established Enriched Health in 2006 with the vision of bringing professional Exercise Physiology services to the Mid North Coast of NSW.
Simon graduated from Southern Cross University in 1997 with a Bachelor of Human Movement Science (Exercise Science). Simon is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist through the Australian Association of Exercise and Sports Science and is an approved Work Cover and Medicare provider.
His work experience has included work as an Accredited Exercise physiologist, Rehabilitation Consultant and Recreation Coordinator. Simon’s professional and fun approach to Exercise Rehabilitation is focused on helping others to achieve quality of life.
Simon has many years of experience providing Exercise Rehabilitation to Work Cover patients. He is one of the few Exercise Physiologists to have accreditation in Work Place Assessments and Functional Capacity Evaluations and he has a keen interest in Motivational Interviewing and Pain Management.
When not working, Simon can be found behind a Drum Kit for the Blues and Roots outfit, The Turnbull Sessions.
Krystle Tate- Exercise Physiologist
Krystle is the newest member of the Enriched Health Team. In 2004 Krystle graduated from Charles Sturt University with a Bachelor of Human Movement (Exercise Science and Rehabilitation). Krystle is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist and an approved Medicare provider.
Krystles feet have only recently touched dry land after spending her last employment as a Exercise Physiologist and Health consultant on various Holland America Cruise Lines. Krystle believes in the moto that “In life the most important thing is not the triumph, but the struggle” (Baron Pierre de Coubertin). Her challenge and goal in life is to utilise her Exercise Physiology skills to motivate people to improve their health, establish a lifelong exercise regime and improve quality of life.
Krystle has a keen interest in Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation and as well as her professional Exercise Physiology skills she is also an accomplished Yoga, Pilates, Aerobics and Indoor Cycling instructor.
Candeice Strong- Exercise Physiologist
Candeice Strong has recently graduated from the University of Wollongong completing a Bachelor of Science (Exercise Science) and Graduate Diploma in Exercise Rehabilitation. Candeice is a Full Member of the Australian Association of Exercise and Sports Science and an Accredited Exercise Physiologist. She is an approved Medicare provider.
Candeice has worked on a number of private and community projects in the exercise physiology fields of chronic disease, cardio respiratory rehabilitation and musculoskeletal rehabilitation. Projects include
- Exercise essential medicine for diabetes management. A joint project between the Illawarra division of general practice, the University of Wollongong and Beaton park leisure center.
- Physical activity and cancer, A study by Nancy Humpel at the University of Wollongong
- Renal Robics, Exercise for dialysis patients in renal units at Wollongong Hospital.
- Aboriginal Vascular Health Project (Auntie Jean’s Good Health Team).
Kelly Robinson – Administration
Kelly joined Enriched Health in December of 2006 as Administrative Officer. She brought with her a strong office administration background and a keen interest in healthcare. Kelly is currently studying a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy and is particularly interested in musculoskeletal rehabilitation. Having grown up in Sydney, she is thoroughly enjoying the relaxed, friendly atmosphere of Port Macquarie, and is looking to stay in the area for as long as possible. Kelly’s goals are to be able to represent Enriched Health in a friendly yet professional manner and maintain the kinship and respect she holds for her dedicated co-workers.
Naomi Lyons – Administration
Naomi is currently on Maternity Leave looking after what we at Enriched Health believe to be the best looking new born in the world! Naomi has a solid background in Office Management and loves working with people. Naomi also has a Bachelor in Land Care Management and Simon is still trying to get her to build a perma-culture garden in his back yard.
